Establish a Policy
Clear policies, developed in spirit of collaboration, routinely assessed and updated, are vital to excellence in higher education. At NU, the person responsible for maintaining a policy is called the "policy owner."
The MyNU Policy tool, currently under development, enables policy owners to start a new policy, identify and collaborate with stakeholders, request the appropriate level of approval for the policy, and post updates and revised editions right from their log-in page at MyNU.
The tool will also help policy owners track changes in legislation, and, by providing a current copy for all links to point to, will ensure that only current copies of your policy are available on our website.
- To create a policy, click "Start New Policy"
- To revise a current policy, click "Edit Existing Policy"
- To eliminate a policy, click "Edit Existing Policy"
